What is the Customer-oriented strategy?

The way in which customers and companies relate has changed dramatically over recent years. This has meant many companies now need to follow a customer-orientated strategy.

Consumers are aware of their freedom of choice, so attracting and retaining them has become much more complicated for companies, meaning many companies resort to this strategy to try and understand the specific market of a company to offer solutions and alternatives to gain their attention.

The customer-centric strategy proposes a differential value to that of product-centric strategies, commonly used in companies.
